Welcome to San Ramon

San Ramon , a premier residential community, is located 25 miles east of Oakland and adjacent to Danville (north) and Dublin (south). Mount Diablo flanks the city to the northeast and the Las Trampas Regional Wilderness borders its extreme northwest. San Ramon residents are generally very well-educated professionals, managers, and sales and office workers. The city is home to the Bishop Ranch Office Park, a major regional employment center for over 200 companies, including many Global 500 companies. Some 21,000 workers commute daily to the 580-acre complex. City Center, an enormous, multi-year downtown redevelopment project (see below), is predicted to make San Ramon a popular regional destination. With its already comparatively lower housing prices, open spaces, and excellent schools, the city is especially attractive to young families and professionals.
