San Leandro  is tucked in the East Bay section of California’s Bay Area within Alameda County. A suburb of Oakland, San Leandro is widely known as an East Bay shopping and dining mecca with stunning panoramic views of the San Francisco Bay and its hills. San Leandro is bordered by Oakland on the north, Castro Valley on the east, San Lorenzo on the south and the San Francisco Bay and Millbrae on the west. Established in 1872, it is also one of the oldest cities in the state, which is evident in many of city’s Spanish missionary and historic architecture. Another great feature of the city is its central location – about 25 minutes to San Francisco by vehicle and a 30 to 40-minute drive to San Jose.
