Welcome to Prosper

Prosper and Celina (approx. pops. 9,000; 6,000) are upscale suburban communities located about 30 miles north of downtown Dallas along the Dallas North Tollway corridor (US 380). Touted as two of the fastest up-and-coming cities in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, Prosper and Celina are both currently undergoing an economic renaissance resulting in hundreds of new homes, ranging from luxury apartments and stately townhomes to brand new affluent single-family homes, as well as dozens of new restaurants, retailers and employers. D Magazine recognized Prosper as the 5th Best Suburb in the Dallas Metropolitan Area on its 2010 Best Suburbs List. Celina, meanwhile, is beloved for its historic downtown reminiscent of the 1920s and small-town ideals. About 20 miles away, Toyota, JPMorgan Chase and Liberty Mutual Insurance are creating thousands of new employment opportunities. Celina shares its southern border with Prosper. Frisco and Allen are south of that.
