Welcome to Millbrae

Millbrae is perhaps best known for its prominent landmark, San Francisco International Airport, which is located immediately east of the city. Millbrae’s economic scene is a mix of retail shops, restaurants, service businesses and hotels — all within five minutes of the airport. Commuting north or south is very easy because the city is home to the only Intermodal rail connection west of the Mississippi. BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit), Caltrain (commuter rail) and SamTrans (regional bus) all connect at the Millbrae Station, linking the San Francisco Peninsula with the rest of the Bay Area.
