Manhattan Beach (approx. pop. 13,000) is the definition of luxury seaside living in Southern California. Located in southwestern Los Angeles County about 2 miles south of the Los Angeles International Airport, Manhattan Beach is one of three cities to make up the South Bay region. It offers residents a highly coveted lifestyle filled with fun in the sun, a vibrant downtown and active community and tons of quality retailers and dining establishments. It is bordered on the west by the Pacific Ocean with El Segundo and Hermosa Beach on the north and south, respectively. Hawthorne, Redondo Beach and Torrance flank the community on the west. There are at least 10 distinct neighborhoods within Manhattan Beach, including Tree Section, Hill Section, The Village and Sand Section.
