Welcome to Kentfield

Kentfield (approx. pop. 6,485) is a census-designated place (CDP) located two miles southwest of downtown San Rafael. It lies mainly on the westside of Sir Francis Drake Boulevard, between Greenbrae and Ross, and on the eastern slope of Mt. Tamalpais. The Corte Madera Creek, which feeds into San Francisco Bay, runs through the area. Kentfield boasts gracious homes, stunning views, wooded neighborhoods and good schools. It is also home to Marin General Hospital, the county’s largest medical facility, and a wide range of clinics and medical specialty offices.
