Castro Valley

Welcome to Castro Valley

Castro Valley  is a rural, residential town that is one of the largest unincorporated areas in the country. It lies about 30 miles southeast of San Francisco. Lake Chabot lies at the north end of the valley, the city of San Leandro is directly west, and Hayward is to the south. Castro Valley has several distinctly different neighborhoods, including two planned communities. Residents of the Columbia neighborhood (about 540 homes) enjoy both bay and valley views, as well as easy access to the East Bay Regional Park open space. The area called Parsons Estates features custom-built homes on large lots, and is near Anthony Chabot Regional Park. In the northeastern part of Castro Valley is the Ridges neighborhood, which features large homes on large lots with fabulous views.
