Welcome to Bel Air
Bel-Air (approx. pop. 8,000) is the third leg of Los Angeles’ “Platinum Triangle,” a self-styled label referring to the upscale, trendy communities of Beverly Hills, Holmby Hills and Bel-Air. It is located in the western section of the city, roughly 12 miles northwest of Downtown LA in the foothills of the Santa Monica Mountains. It is bordered by the mountain range on the northwest, Sherman Oaks on the north, Studio City on the northeast, Beverly Glen on the east, Westwood Village on the south and Santa Monica on the southwest.
