Antioch

Welcome to Antioch

Antioch is located in the heart of northern California, 45 miles northeast of San Francisco and 60 miles southwest of Sacramento. Dubbed the “Gateway to the Delta,” it sits at the intersection of the Sacramento and San Joaquin rivers, and is a world-class destination for boating, fishing and other water sports. Antioch was founded in 1850, making it one of the oldest cities in the state. Today, it is recognized as the hub of activity for eastern Contra Costa County, offering a great environment for both living and working, and as a gateway to the many recreational features and cultural facilities of Northern California and the Bay Area — without the high price tag of most Bay Area real estate. The largest employer in the city is Kaiser Permanente, with 2,000+ employees.
